The Shuttleberg is a huge winter sports park with a variety of special slopes; while the youngest skiers ride from one life-size Crazy Doll to the next on the Family Run or try the funny wave track on the Fun Run, the older kids and adults fight for the best time on the race piste and the speed course or compete in a race over jumps and through tight curves on the Cross Run. You're sure to have fun here, regardless of age.
Do you want to know how many seconds separate you from the top speeds of the Austrian Ski Team (140 km/h) or the world speed ski record (248 km/h)? On the permanent Speed Course you can race all the way down the course — at the end, a measuring bar records your speed, and on the display, you can see how fast you were.
Every Thursday from 12 noon to 14 p.m. our Speed Race takes place here. If you take part, you can win great prizes!
You can find the starting house of the Speed Course on the Lumberjack slope on the Kleinarl side.
On the Race Piste, you can compete with your friends for the fastest time. The start and finish bars record your time up to a hundredth of a second, while you concentrate on taking the giant slalom poles as tight as possible. Of course, the Race Piste is maintained daily. The fee for timekeeping is Euro 1,-.
The Race Piste is located on the slope along the Sunshine Shuttle on the right side.
The Cross Run for boarder and ski crossers was built by the Absolut Park Shape Crew together with Austrian National Coach Gerald Kerschhackl and is used as a training course by many different national teams. Still, we designed it so that anyone can ride at their own pace and have fun — no matter how long they have been skiing or snowboarding.
You can see the start of the cross run on the right above the Schüttalm restaurant. You can reach it from the top station of the Powder Shuttle, the Bubble Shuttle and the Lumberjack Shuttle.
